"Cause" makes you sound like you were kicked out of freshman comp... We get it-you hate the coaches... Hopefully you dont out yourself and see to it that no one touches your relative over your wrath!! wonder what daughter would think if she read her parents tantrum?

There was no reason to let John Price go, great man. First off...Happy Birthday America Second...in this day and age of instant communicating is most members in this board gonna be that picky about grammar? Read just a few postings from someone who was over all a person about grammar instead about talking what's going on with CSUB. Third...I was shocked to find out last year when Price was let go. I checked CSUB's Website and there was no information or maybe there was and I overlooked it. I was going to ask someone in here why he was let go but backed off for fear someone would lash out for asking such a nosey question. Price did a very good job of keeping that school play at a very high level year after year when it was DII and then when it was moved up to DI he didn't too bad and even had a few winning seasons as in independent DI school. Did one really lousy losing season(I think the 2010 season) put him on the hot seat? Losing a long time coach is tough, we all know transition of coaches is not easy for everyone , having two losing seasons is not good and certainly doesn't impress the Big West honchos where I think they still want to become a member of(hey, anything could happen). Too bad this is happening to CSUB where they are still trying to make it a go at the DI level. So, is it okay to discuss why Price was let go who is now back at CSUN as an assistant for the women's team( which is good and probably will make one of our middle blockers a better player since he recruited her to play at CSUB but left CSUB when he got fired)? I'm sure my questions have been answered in the following posts in this same thread just too lazy to keep reading and post later.

Actually in this age of instant communication, it is a shame we are losing our ability to communicate due to poor grammer, spelling and sentence structure.
While I think the gammar police (sometimes that includes me) can be a little over the top, I am glad people get corrected. Some posts throughout the board are almost impossible to read.
I have also noticed the amount of gammar police activity increases when a thread or post is so ridiculous it does not warrent true commentary.

Don't look now but the butchering you made of "grammar" has the spelling authorities hot on your tail.

The ability to communicate is overrated. Looking at the president set by vice precedential candidate Dan Quayle in regard to his spelling lessens, their should be no deterrent to anyone in they're rise to the top. Your chasing you're own tail if you think that is the case.

For those of you wondering what Karellen is talking about, the correct word in Phaedrus's post would have been "precedent" but he was being playful.

please tell me you noticed other issues as well....(I know you did) Several..well done Phaedrus. What's interesting is how our mind works. If you read it quickly you don't notice them (or at least all of them) and your mind replaces the correct words to match context.

A homonym and a pun at the same time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sorry, couldn't resist the exclamation points )
