I'm thrilled, wish I could have been there to see it! Hopefully we keep it up against South Carolina. They dominated Miss. State, but I guess that team is having some issues right now.

The Mizzou loss to Ole Miss is going to really hurt their RPI and is the type of loss that can knock a team off the bubble, though they have still have matches left to try and improve their RPI

Mizzou had a big victory today at Auburn. This helps from what could have been a horrible and bubble bursting weekend. After watching them on tv i still dont think they will be able to win enough with the new line up but still ok at this point. South carolina welcome back to the top 150 of the country. Huge win and great weekend for Ole Miss, that will help the RPIs for the conference. Florida escaped another 2-0 match but they are by far the best team in the SEC.

Is that a joke welcoming South Carolina back into the top 150? Or, are they really that bad and this is an accomplishment. I knew they would fight Georgia for second to last place in the SEC East, but I don't know what that does for the top 150.

Recent thread of Dream Team made me think about what would the SEC dream team be halfway through conference play. Here is my Roster with 3 OH, 2 Middles, 1 RS, 1 DS, 2 Setters and a libero.
OH Lisa Henning, Missouri OH Kelsey Robinson, Tennessee OH ZIva Recek, Florida M Chole Mann, Florida M Whitney Little, Missouri RS Alaicia Kastmo, TAMU Set Christine Hartmann, Kentucky Set Allie Sawatsky, TAMU Libero Taylor Unroe, Florida
thoughts from others...

Seriously Sawatsky? you must be joking! Don't even get me started on her lack of abilities! She should have concentrated on being a hitter but oh wait she has no block at 6'2" and can't get her feet to the ball if the pass is not at least a 2 and wait takes more swings than her outside while hitting only .174, she continuously does not see the block and sets her hitters into double blocks more often than getting them one-on-ones and her consistency is decided by the alignment of stars in the sky You must be a TAMU fan! Kastmo is way too slow to be my favorite RS. I do like your MB choices. So maybe you used to be a middle. I like Taylor B as one of my SEC setter choices. I also like Mary P. Not so sure on my OH or Libero choices yet. I will put a dream team together and post later.

Yes I see more TAMU matches than any other but honestly I dont think there is a better RS in the conference and setting is not the strongest in the SEC. I havent seen Pardo (LSU) except in High school and I havent seen Kreklow this year at all but liked her last season in the Big 12.
I have seen enough matches this year by TAMU to determine that the OH position is below average against a good block. Mellanger is better suited for libero and if anything should be OH2 not OH1 but lack of the go to outside hurts the team when especially the slide is not available for Miller. As for Sawatsky I would like to see better setting than offense from her but her ability to attack has gotten a lot of one on one situations when on the front row.

Molly is a strong setter has a pretty good block and her decision making is pretty good. But I strongly disagree with your assessment of Sawatsky. She is very predictable and misses many one-on-one opportunities and even a few open nets! Her attacking may work well against lousy teams but any above average team will shut her down. Just see stats from Florida match. Her blocking is a liability and she is too slow to cover tips properly. I did like Cikra on the right but I remember her playing middle. Let me think this a bit and I will come up with my dream team.
