Dawgs picked 5th they have a few pit bulls on the bulldog team look for them to fight for their lives I expect a few "what would be called upsets" by the main stream volleyball fan. GO DAWGS!!! I agree, with that easy schedule the Dogs could win the East. Wait a minute, I was thinking football. 5th sounds right to me - at least I am picking the Dogs ahead of the Cocks.

...I was actually going to pm it to you when I did it James because I knew you'd give me great feedback on the system such as how to improve it but I got sidetracked. Anyways, I would love to see what kind of system you end up using and what results it comes up with. Prepare to be disappointed! I'm just doing a very basic version using the coaches preseason rankings and a scoring system like the coaches use to vote on those rankings -- play #1 and you get 1 point, # 2 is 2 points, etc. Lowest scores have the toughest schedules. I just wanted a rough idea of how this new scheduling system set things up and that seemed like an easy way to get the info.

Don't sleep on Mizzou. Bring back two All-SEC preseason players and pretty much everyone from last year's team. Plus they got Taylor Simpson.

I am really happy with the additions of Mizzou and Texas A&M as I feel they make the SEC a stronger conference. Also, it is great to have more schools that actually have fans who support their team with good attendance figures. Both of these schools will be on TV multiple times through the season and I will definitely check them out although it is disappointing it isn't until October and against some of the weakest teams in the SEC.

I have to say it's actually pretty cool having a chance to see a couple of SEC matches live at A&M. It's an easy hour 15 minute drive to catch A&M/Florida or A&M/Kentucky on early Sunday afternoon.

I am not sure if South Carolina feels the same about the addition of Mizou. The addition of another team to climb over in the East is not easy. Even if GA and SC improve, it will be difficult to climb over FL, TN and KY.

Even if GA and SC improve, it will be difficult to climb over FL, TN and KY. That's a very good point that I totally agree with. The top tier teams want more competition to prepare them for the tournament and legitimize their conference to help improve RPI and seeding whereas the lower tier teams stay at the bottom with even more teams preventing them from success.

I remember watching Kreklow during her freshman year. She was a stud. I don't know much about Mizzous lineup or depth chart, or how Taylor Simpson figures into it. I do hope though that she can stay healthy so we can see her in full force finally, even if it isnt for the Huskers
