Can anyone explain what "blocks 2/4" and "digs 0/5" means?

I'll wait awhile to see if somebody who knows for sure answers. if nobody does, I'll make a guess.

Also, is a dig only counted when it results immediately in a set and a kill?

It's the stats that NBC displays under a players name during the game.

International stats on blocks count kills, faults, and touches or rebounds. So 2/4 would be 2 kills, 4 faults (getting tooled) or 4 touches, meaning the ball bounces off you. Some variation. Also i believe memorybankrupt is right in that a dig leads to a kill, while the other doesn't. I suspect some statisticians/systems blend service reception in as digs.

How do the points within the pools work? Sent from my MB860 using proboards 3 points for winning 3-0 or 3-1, 2 points for winning 3-2. 0 points for losing 3-0 or 3-1, 1 point for losing 3-2.
