Dominated the first set. The Argentinians are not very big and didn't block most of the set. April swung well...Jen was ripping balls. They should cruise through the 2nd set pretty quickly.
It'll be interesting to see them when they start playing teams with a decent blocking player.

2nd set is tighter. ARG playing better D/blocking...and it seemed as if Kessy/Ross took them for granted to start the set.
Kessy / Ross win in 2. Seemed to get a little to comfortable with scoring via swinging away. ARG picked up there game and should come away with a few wins from the olympics.

Kessy/Ross looked good today. Hopefully they can play consistently and make it on the podium.

Well, a sweep is a sweep. Let Argentina have some life there from the mid-point of the set on, but kept them at arm's-length for the most part. Good win. Time to move up. Fairly pleased with the Americans so far across the board.

I wasn't overly impressed with the Americans. The basically had an open net all of set 1, but when they were challenged in set 2, it was a lot closer than it should have been.

Kessy/Ross seemed to have lost their mojo/momentum in the second set. In addition to their physical training and conditioning, they also "mentally trained" with professionals - presumably sports psychologists.
