They seem to be throwing people around. It's a very long shot ...

Do they warmup elsewhere? Because they're getting ready to go.

The match will be delayed. RUS vs DOM is going to 4. Gamova with 16 kills and 6 blocks! What I don't get is why they scheduled only 2 hours for each match instead of 2.5. All you need is one close match early in the day and the whole thing is messed up. USA-Brazil supposed to start at 15 after the hour from what I see now.

Never mind. Now they're warming up.
Funny. Who knew the FIVB pre-match protocol would be so different.

So is Brazil pretty good, are we expected to win this?

#2 in the world. So yes. But a loss would not be that big of an upset.

Guimares already looks appropriately stressed out.

Same starters. Of course.

These have been the two top teams for the last 4-5 years. Always a great match. The players have seen so much of each other. Like a lover's quarrel.

I'm surprised there isn't more yellow-and green in the stands. Normally Brazil dominates any crowd.

Weird choices on the first couple rallies -- most teams establish te middle first to open up the bic/D. Berg is running everything BUT the middle.
