Anderson again gets Grozer on the block. 24-23 USA. While I think he still has a ways to go (especially in SR) I think Anderson has developed nicely over the last 2 years, and especially this last one. USAS 25-23 on an Anderson kill He had an awesome first set, great serving, great out of system hitting, great blocking. If he plays like this the whole tournament we could medal.

Stanley big serve, German overpass, Holmes taps it to the floor off the late blocker. 11-8 USA, German timeout.

Grozer contained, don't see how they can hurt us otherwise...

I think (Hope) we might be seeing the same thing as what happened when Germany played Russia. Close opening set, but now the better team is pulling away. 17-12.

Anderson another ace. Maybe we're witnessing his true coming out party? 20-15 USA.

For such an inconsistent team, we've really showed up in London for both matches.
Edit: Maybe we just timed our peak well ;-)

This team is scary when it's playing with confidence, so our schedule worked out really well. Once you're in the elimination rounds, anything can happen.. and there's a lot of choking teams out there.

I haven't watched too many of the other games. Russia looked good, who else is looking tough?
