I haven't watched too many of the other games. Russia looked good, who else is looking tough? (e) none of the above

I haven't watched too many of the other games. Russia looked good, who else is looking tough? Poland. Lost the first set to Italy then steamrolled them the next three. Steamrolled us at World League. They've been steamrolling everyone really. Russia is still the most talented team out there, but they're not playing at as high a level. Brazil...Meh. We'll see. I think they're done for the next year or two, but of course they'll be back once the new talent gets situated. Not this Games though. Italy? Chokers. No Cuba, Bulgaria is in shambles, Serbia is in transition, and we already smashed them. Australia, Tunisia and GB all pretty much suck. Argentina has a ton of talent, but I think they're a year or two away from being competitive at this level. So I'd say we are the current favorites for The Bronze. Russia and Poland will duke it out for The Gold.

I think Russia sandbagged world league to be honest.

So I just checked the scores...Poland lost 3-1 to Bulgaria...I really can't explain that one.

23-15. Germany looks shell shocked.

Thought it might be a bit more exciting, but great to see the US doing well.
25-20 in the final set

Saw the first set. Anderson was putting everything away, though not getting set a lot then. That German server was great; USA up 24-16, and the only way it appeared the US could win was Grover, or whatever, would miss. Anderson wasn't going to return him (nor were few others). He did miss at what, 20?

Grozer.
Barnett's funny. His critics baffle me.

Fortunately he didn't get hot earlier in the set.
