Aiyana Whitney? If that's who you're talking about, Yes she's ruled out because she's not a MB. But if that's not who you're talking about I apologize She played OH her freshmen year, but Russ moved her to the middle this year. PSU fans would have to confirm, but I'm pretty sure she was first MB off the bench for them. She played OH this past season. Played middle very sparingly. I'd still consider her an OH though.

Haggerty is still a possibility, since she isn't playing sand. But he sisters are going to nebraska so I doubt it's her either

Mostly came in for Grant when she didn't perform.

Whitney saw time on the left for Courtney a few times. However, she played in the middle more than she played on the left.

Wasn't aware of that. If that's true, I really do hope it's her. She's a stud and the only reason she didn't start for penn state was because their roster is so deep. If it is Aiyana Whitney, I would label her as an impact player, a 6'5 MB. Cannot imagine Russ Rose releasing her though. Like he released Ali Longo...? He has plenty of talent without Whitney. He doesn't want a kid to be unhappy.

She did play sand last year, so that's why I connected the two. Just a guess really

Well, someone asked Cindy, when she was going to phone and talk with the transfer, her answer, when I have time. In other wards, since she knows who it is, she feels it is not important now, and will probably let us all know maybe in a couple of months from now. So people do not hold your breaths, the news will not happen anytime soon.

Just a guess really Haggerty isn't playing sand because she wanted to dedicate the spring to body recomposition and improving her athleticism. She met with Cook, the strength/conditioning coach, and nutritionist, to design a specialized program in addition to the required program so that she could take her game to the next level. She realized that her skill wasn't holding her back, but her conditioning and quickness was, and decided to address it.

Cindy is busy because of the sand season. She has to be at Queen's beach all day to cover the matches. She'll be free for a few days after the sand tournaments and Men's volleyball matches usually from Monday to Wednesday, a small window.
