My VT life has improved drastically once I realized this poster just doesn't matter to me. Hey if it isn't the dick head that lies about kids and programs to try and make some lame point.

Duplicate post because I wanted it in this thread, too.
Don't read this, Minnesota fans/players, if you're easily offended.
This team can still be competitive. But they aren't going to do it with ball control. They just aren't very good passing and digging. So they need to serve tough and block, hit with great efficiency and battle. They did none of those things tonight, aside from Santana's serving.
But I'm telling you, this is it. Unless something changes drastically with their 2014 and 2015 recruiting, they are going to be in a boat load of trouble the next few years. They have a great coach and, we hope, some competitive kids. What they don't have is the talent to compete with PSU, Nebraska, etc. Think about it. Next year they are without Harms (of course), AS WELL AS Wittman and Dixon. There is no one coming in or currently on the roster who can come close to replacing those three.
They need to get it together THIS YEAR. They aren't going to be competing for any titles in the near future. Wittman needs to step it up, big time. This is her last chance.

Kill is not going to resign. What a stupid statement to make. Moody, if Jerry Kill does indeed decide to resign, I will expect an apology from you. Is there a particular reason why you think Kill will not resign, AND more importantly why you consider it such a stupid statement to make? Just going through your previous posts on VT, you might consider getting on some medication. Are you always this angry? Do you always address people as "dick head", and do you have something against women volleyball coaches? I could go on here with the statements you have posted on VT that I would consider much more egregious than "stupid"! Please tell us that you are not an NRA member. While he didn't resign today, it has been announced that Coach Kill will take a leave of absence to focus on his epilepsy treatment; Tracy Claeys will act as head coach in the interim. www.gophersports.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/101013aaa.html

On a more relevant note, why wasn't Laura Bush on the Penn State trip...?

Just finished watching the Minn v. PSU match.
Impressed with the Gophers.
Hugh was a great hire

Great hire, but he needs to get busy landing some top 10-15 recruits over the next couple of years. I don't see PSU and Nebraska regressing back to the field and Wisconsin has Carlini as a foundation for some potentially good teams.

I don't care how much talent you have, if you don't have a leader or leaders, it is tough to do as well as you should. The Gophers do not have a leader and until they have someone step into that role, they will not do as well they should because the do have the talent. That's just my opinion.

You don't think that Tori Dixon is a leader? She certainly looked like one to me.

The Gophers are missing talent at some key positions/roles.
And 2014 will not improve this situation. Not unless something changes (and I think it will).

It shows how good the big ten conference is when the Gophers COULD be looking at a 4th-6th place finish this year. What an awesome conference!
