Here's a solution when you are as good as Larson. You go to Fenerbahce who has a good team, not as good as her present team or some others, but you get the money you want and you make that team a very good team. Fenerbahce is missing a 6 rotation outside hitter. Kim can't pass, serves are iffy and she doesn't terminate. This diffently hurts the team and Fe is definitely not a good passer either. Who are the top three teams in club volleyball right now? Kazan and two Brazil teams. So few words... so much wrong!

Ok I may be wrong and it seems that is the case said by many. We are talking the Kim on Fenerbahce correct? I have seen a handful of games and it was just an impression I got. Is she better than Larson or some of the Brazilian girls?

Some people argue that Kim is the best outside hitter in the world. I don't follow international ball but the consensus is that yes she's better than Larson. You can argue for the Brazilians too but no one would question someone calling Kim the best OH in today's game.

Kim just finished tearing up the CEV Cup competition. MVP of the finals. Leading scorer of the competition. Leader in kills. Nearly double the aces of any other players while ranking in the top three in serving efficiency. Ranked at the top or near the top in every attacking, serving, and blocking category. There's not much else she could be asked to do other than sell popcorn during timeouts or ride a unicycle during the break. This comes after tearing up the London Olympics (MVP of the tournament on a team that didn't even medal), MVP of the Champions League, etc etc. Maybe you caught her on an off night, I don't know, but there isn't a coach anywhere who wouldn't crawl a mile through broken glass to sign her.

But I would argue that after this season, Larson has proved that she belongs on the same list as Kim, Fe Garay, Costagrande, etc.

I think I probably did catch her in a couple of off nights. It would pay to watch a whole season. She should be happy to know that USA fans like how she plays and think highly of her. That's a lot of positives to say for any athletes.

Kim's also an above-average receiver, on top of being the best attacker (And potentially the best server) out there. Garay is good receiver too, but I will concede she can get stuck in the shank tank from time to time. Her floor defense is all sorts of flawless though.

Didn't Fe get the best receiver award at the Olympics?

I think Zhu Ting is about ready to replace her as the world's best attacker.

Any update on Megan Hodge? Is she playing or still hurt?

The Chinese League finished a few weeks ago. Hodge returned from injury but her team was eliminated in the semis.
