Not sure if this has been posted yet: Chelsey Keoho from CU to Oregon per Instagram. Even with a release she has to sit out a year correct? My understanding is that, with a release, a volleyball player can play immediately as long as this is her first transfer. I had previously called this "one free transfer" and got jumped on for the wording so I am attempting to be more explicit this time. I was wondering if Keoho would move on. She played a lot as Libero her freshman year but lost that position last season to Sierra Simpson. I don't think she ever got into a game last season. In fact I wondered if she had some sort of injury or other problem that kept her from playing. Pac 12 rule is a scholarship athlete has to sit out a year and loses a year of eligibility (Amanda Gil, for instance). Non-scholarship athletes don't have that restriction. compliance.pac-10.org/thetools/4yrtrans.pdf

Dumb on me. So now we may find out if Keoho was actually on scholly at CU as a Libero.

I thought even if you had a release, if you stayed playing in same conference (in this case Pac 12), you had to sit out one year.

kalai mau from minnesota to arizona moving closer to family Wow, really? That's too bad for Minnesota and for me (I liked watching her play). Can't say I'm surprised, though. Hawaii to Minnesota is a haul.

A 2012 article about Sarah Livingston... “Growing up, I always played volleyball,” said Livingston, who was a first-team Journal Star all-area player last fall. “That was always the biggest sport at Christ Lutheran. We were state champs my eighth-grade year and second place my seventh-grade year and I was MVP both years so that was definitely my first love. And honestly, coming in to high school, my focus was volleyball. But Coach Becker definitely showed me there’s a lot more to basketball and I love it now.” Read more: www.pjstar.com/article/20120227/News/302279855#ixzz36LOv6xzI

Ex A1 and youth national player who followed her USA coach to Louisville if I remember correctly. Do you know why she left? Louisville does has a transfer libero, McVey, coming in who is also a junior.

She missed the next season due to injury, for which she did lose a year of eligibility, since she'd already used her redshirt. The penalty can be reduced if nine Pac-12 faculty representatives agree.

Any news on where Jane Croson will be playing? She's still on Arizona's sand volleyball roster.

The VB Magazine Top 10 recruiting class article states that Canace Finley transferred from Oregon to San Diego.
Is this the cryptic Pac 12 "big-time transfer" another poster kept alluding to?
