Just announced today that Omaha, NE will host the FIVB Grand Prix Final Round at the end of July 2015.
Still a long way out but this is an amazing opportunity for the USA and volleyball fans to see some of the best players in the world the year before the Olympics. The 2011 Final Round included Serbia, Russia, Thailand, China, Brazil, Japan, Italy and USA.

So how much money did USAV have to spend on European prostitutes and bags of cocaine to get the FIVB officials to agree to this? Or is that just the IOC?

One down side to watching the matches in person is that you won't be able to listed to Drunken British Guy call the matches.

I'm already committed to attend. But don't tell anyone on VolleyTalk. I'd hate for everyone there to find out I'm actually Jose Roberto Guimares. Then they wouldn't dare to question my obviously correct analysis of every team. And VolleyTalk would be no fun with everyone just agreeing with me all the time. Much more accurate, yes, but not nearly as fun.
