For what it's worth, I think Incarnate Word and Abilene Christian are transitioning to division 1. They are in the Southland Conference. How is that Big 12 related?

They did split with NAIA and a D2 team. Wayland and West Texas. Then they lost to two former D2 teams in their first year in the southland and both are not fully funded this past year.

It's probably way more relevant that Tech lost to Incarnate Word in the REGULAR season last year.

It's not like those are scrub teams, though. Last season West Texas was a DII National semifinalist and Wayland was an NAIA National semifinalist. OK, back to your regularly scheduled Big 12 stuff, and good luck to Texas Tech!

I saw Tech beat Rice. I think they play 100 times and Rice wins 99 but good spring win for Tech. Also saw Baylor beat OU. After losing first set Bahior blows out OU in the 2nd set 26-9. And 15-11 in 3rd. Baylor's Leftside went down against Tecas before they played OU. Looked like a bad knee injury. So all 4 Leftsides were out and their best middle. The Jones kid blew it up. For Texas the Dalton girl is a big time setter. Who ever said they didn't think she was a setter was completely wrong. She looked like one of the top setters in the country.

Texas tech just beat rice at the lsc. Spring is crazy. That's nuts and good for them. I honestly hope they have a good fall yet it looks like they play to their opponents level too often. That gets you beat down by the big four in the big12

Saw Baylor beat UNT and OU, for the 2nd time this spring season. Baylor was playing without their outside who had been having an outstanding spring season but Baylor had their middle who led the team in hitting percentage and most blocks last season. Third middle, who has been in the three middle rotation did not play, she was on the bench.

Anyone see Kansas play this spring? They have improved over the last couple years and wondered how they look.

Anyone see Kansas play this spring? They have improved over the last couple years and wondered how they look. KANSAS had some significant loss due to graduation but return all their pin hitters. The key to them will be how fast they get their setting up to speed.

KU does return a nice middle. I think they lost a setter, middle and Libero. I haven't seen K- State either. Any word on how they are doing this spring? Was Pelger a senior?
