UCSB might wanna run the middle away from the setter just a tad.

BYU up two sets to nil. Doesn't look like they'll be in too much trouble.

BYU owned the net tonight, ought to be an incredible game between the Cougs and red-hot Stanford. Regardless of that outcome, both will be moving on to the NCAAs.
UCSB out, Pepperdine, with their excellent regular season record, should get the second at-large.

UCSB out, Pepperdine, with their excellent regular season record, should get the second at-large. As long as Loyola take care of business. Yeah, I can't see it going any other way right now. But damn if I haven't said that before a few times this season. The Waves sure will be Rambler fans on Saturday.

BYU with a little tasty home cookin' should take care of business, but who cares? This just shows how stupid conference tournaments are, especially with hardly any conferences. BYU gets the #2 seed, and Stanford #3 unless Stanford pulls off the huge upset and moves all the way up to #2!

With BYU's recent road woes perhaps a loss to Stanford, and a resulting #3 seed, wouldn't be so bad; they would get a shot at Erskine (and a relatively easy win?) to get confidence up before taking on Stanford in the semis, assuming Stanford gets #2. Of course no guarantee BYU would get #3, but I doubt Penn State would.
