I guess we will just have to see how much fruit the tree bears here, eh I guess we do. I remember when a lot of Beach fans were total doubters of USC and claimed that we don't develop our players. I also remember claims of how the Beach team post-Weaver and Haneef was going to surprise some people w/ their success. P.S. Your tree is sans fruit. All your fruit has transfered or been injury-riddled.

I guess we will just have to see how much fruit the tree bears here, eh Well, the USC program has been very fruitful for the last 3 years since Mick Haley took over. Lets see....2 national championships - make that back-2-back championship with a 66-1 record - multiple players on the AA list (including 5 first team AA honors in last 2 seasons), 3 Pac-10 championships etc, etc. Lets compare to the Beachless team....what can I say. They have multiple injuries and under-performances. Wait, there is the distinction of being booted out of the NCAA tournaments in the 1st round for 2 consecutive seasons! Looks like the Beachless tree is pretty bare. I also wonder whether the much vaunted Beachless crowd, the supposedly vbfan, will fill up the Long Beach Arena next year. From the dismal looks of the Pyramid at the regionals, it is a pretty dismal outlook indeed, particularly as the Beachless team is very, very, very likely to be an early absentism from the post-season play, again. Pretty sad, don't you think Beachman?

Pretty sad, don't you think Beachman? You paint a bleak picture, but it's really not that bad. The Beach is a very young team. They have four talented redshirts who did'nt play this past year. All they need is a decent setter, and they will bounce right back into the top 20. The Long Beach community has long supported Brian's team and will continue to do so as long as he remains the coach. ;D ;D

I think that if I were a die-hard Stanford fan looking at the train wreck that is coming next year in the PAC-20----U$C, UCLA, CAL, Washington, and Arizona, I would be hoping for some miracles too ;D Yep, you guys are soooo used to "having it all your way" that you really need something to boost your egos and your outlooks Keep them good thoughts coming, cause it is better than the alternative, right

It has been my experience that all rumors eventually turn out to be true if you wish hard enough.
It has also been my experience that the harder the Beach fans hammer away at Mick Haley and his team, the more championships he will win at USC. They are directly proportional.
Before any of you Stanford fans get too excited, I have one name for you:
Sara Sandrik

Actually, I liked Sara Sandrik even though she turned out to be such a big disappointment given her Gatorade status, yadda yadda. As for the whole Stalls, Barboza, etc. rumors, I'm just going to sit back and wait until formal announcements are made. I got all excited about Pavan, and then it turned out she wasn't even really interested in Stanford. Oh well. And Beachman, kiss mah grits.

Pac 10 season is going to be a lot of fun. I don't think the winner will come out w/ less than 2 losses. Even though it was nice to see SC rack up the wins, I do miss those exciting matches from past seasons when SC squared off against Stanford and UCLA.

Unless a particular PAC-10 really steps it up next season, 2 losses could be a lower number than anyone will have in the conference. U$C will definitely get beaten, several times I'm sure, and it will be a lot of fun to watch the competition.....clearly the best conference in the country, both this year and next!
