Thought I'd relieve the traffic on the jobs thread a bit.
Start your guessing here and now.

Does JFO (Jen Flynn Oldenburg)come back you said wild-ass so I did? Knows the program, kids are older?, would only have to focus on coaching. Haen (sp) is RC, and Jo is Ops both the things that JFO used to do in addition to coaching.
My second guess is Bartsch.

Former Volunteer - Laura DeBruler is at Western Illinois so this would be a big step up for her. Scott Lesserman is at Northwestern so its not as big a step up for him but I would think Illinois would be a better job from a volleyball standpoint. Jen Fry is at Elon.
Annie Luhrsen is a JV coach in Champaign, so that would be an easy stop-gap measure to get them through the season.
What is Tim Jensen up to post-Peperdine?

Former player and assistant Disa (Johnson) Garner lives in the area, so if they needed someone quickly, she certainly has experience.

I would go with a man with some type of men's/international background. Can't see him going with a young female as he already has one on staff.

Preseason starts in like 6 weeks. If Haen is the RC as was suggested then yes, he needs a tactical/technical coach and from Connors Bio it sounds like one who knows blocking. I'm sure he'd like the person you describe, and he may get one, but it isn't January.

I think that is a zebra crossed with a donkey - zebroid (notice the legs). I'm sure if that still makes it an ass.
but we digress.
(although, the ass end is facing the camera anyway...)

Illinois does not have to make any desperation move here with preseason more than a month away. Hambly can hire a good experienced coach if he wants by hiring someone away from another program. I'll be surprised if he decides to hire an inexperienced coach from the high school ranks. People also seem to overestimate the importance of roles (such as recruiting coordinator) announced for Haen when she was hired. At almost every major program every coach is heavily involved in recruiting and other roles can and will be shuffled to best fit personnel.

Why would it be harder to hire someone off a women's team staff right now?

Rumor has it that it will be a former male volunteer assistant.
