No need for a pipeline to one club. UCLA should have all of SoCal as a pipeline, not to mention pull nationally. But most of all, they need to pick one freakin' setter and stick with her, as well as get a terminating L1. What's the word on the Greek recruit? Press release is pretty impressive - makes it sound like she could be the answer at the outside. I'm sure there was a thread about this when it was announced, but I missed it. She is #12 in this youtube video: She looks solid. She will definitely contribute in my opinion as a freshman. She's a lefty, so it will be interesting to see how she works out.

You basically make your approach straight down the sideline and either hit it line and turn it angle, or you come in with your hips turned into the court and hit wrist-away to make it go down the line. The first way gives you more power, the second way is a little bit more deceptive.

He should try to get hooked up with SCVC.
My awesome comedic talents are completely wasted on this forum.
I am sure Mick got the joke. Everyone else...not so much.

Ah, Fergy is still the director at SCVC and his wifey is there too. So the joke is still funny.

No, Mick and his wife started a new club several years ago. If you'd replaced SCVC with Club Troy, the joke would have been mildly amusing.

I don't think Brenn is coaching there these days. Anyway, I rolled my eyes, so you at least got a reaction. That's something, right?

To me, the smaller programs benefit from club pipelines more than big programs. High profile, successful schools should be able to recruit and cherry pick top players from all over the country. I can't see teams like UCLA or USC drawing lots of players from one or two local clubs. Even the best SoCal clubs don't have that much talent.
