-According to the Santa Barbara Newspress, tonight's game is in Rob Gym because the T-dome floor is being resurfaced. www.newspress.com/sports/091404patton.htm-According to the same article, some of the upcoming games in Florida might be played at Clemson to escape Ivan. -Kristin Nelson is the SB Newspress female athlete of the week. Guess they weren't impressed with Ashley Dutro, she didn't even get honorable mention. www.newspress.com/sports/091404aow.htmDisable Javascript to view these articles. I just talked to the University of Florida and they said there are no plans even being considered to move the tourney to Clemson. If you look at the data from the National Hurricane center, the Gauchos would be more likely to enconter (the remnents) of Ivan if the tourney was played in South Carolina then if it was played in Gainesville.

That's what the articles says, whether it's true or not. And it sounded like it was more of an issue with Florida St. in Tallahassee than with Florida in Gainesville.
I'm taking the "I don't know, I just work here" position.

Sorry, I wasn't questioning your statement. I went to the NP and saw the same thing. I got worried and so I called UF and the volleyball SI said he was quite surprised and the NP info was news to him. Of course, now there is a new tropical storm headed in our general direction from the atlantic side. Hopefully it will take a turn north. bordering on

No matches in Florida are cancelled, postponed or changed this week.
UF travels to FSU tonight, that match is on. The Florida tournament this weekend is on. The FSU tournament this weekend is on.
Ivan, while it will bring wind and rain to most of the eastern panhandle, won't affect anything at FSU or Florida. Now, the western panhandle, that's a different story, as it will be for Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
