Krause could go #1 overall if Orr doesn’t take it. Looks very good for Nebraska !! Batenhorst has raised her level another knotch. But krause is pretty amazing too. Batenhorst reminds me of KIPP. Another phenom. Krause looks better IMO. I know that was just one video, but wasn’t too impressed by Batenhorst’s hops... looks like just about every swing in that video was off the block. While a kill is a kill, you would expect a player like her to go OTT or around those smaller blockers. She’s still young though and looks pretty promising on the right.

I’m gonna have to put the Northern California freshman (2022) on a back burner for now. I’ll toss out a Southern California freshman that I like VERY much but more importantly our staff is looking at closely. Elia Rubin - 6’1”- OH - Marymount HS (Los Angeles). She’s a good all around player already, will be a 6-rotation player in college. I wish she was taller but she’s tall enough. Not the true RS player that we need for this 2022 class, but she can play over there and Zuhn and/or Batenhorst could move to the right side too. Who are the 2023 players you speak of? I’ll give you some names I know of: Mele Faiva, Angelina Sayles, Ashley Artura, Bella Rittenberg, Maia Niemen, Jaylen Clark, Iris Canko, Annelise Rising, Bianca Merloti, Grace Thrower, Carly Greskovics, and Danit Cohen. Those are Southern California 2023’s. How much talent is there in Nebraska for beyond the 2021 class? The in-state talent is supposedly better in coming years For 2022 the only ones I’ve heard of that might be good enough are listed below. They’re both not tall enough to play for us unless they can play Libero. There could be others but none tall enough for us. I think Mya might be able to play Libero for us if she’s interested. She’s pretty good all around. Mya Larson - 5’11”- OH - Wahoo, NE Ava LeGrand - 5’11”- OH - Papillion, NE I don’t know about 2023 but there are two 7th graders (2024) I know of that are being noticed by those that matter.

Nebraska has such a stacked 2021 class I wouldn’t expect a huge 2022 class. Maybe one top MB recruit cause scahwartzenbach will be gone... a walk on setter so Orr isn’t the only roster setter , maybe a ds?

I mentioned Mya Larson on here this fall after watching her play. For a freshman, I couldn't believe her all-around game. It's too bad she wasn't a bit taller. I could see her in a Libero/DS role though.

We have middle blocker Bekka Allick committed for 2022. We have a setter named Nicole Drewnick committed for 2020. We try to get a ds to walk on every year. Boy you sure need to up your Nebraska game and there’s no letter t in Schwarzenbach! Lol

Nebraska Premier 15 Gold won the big tournament in Kansas City. Must be some good players on that team. Who are they? I looked for their roster but they haven’t updated their website. I think Shaylee Myers is on that team.

If she would work at it and would be willing to play Libero for us, I believe she could do it. The girl has skills. She might wanna be a hitter though. She’s not real short like the Kenzies (Maloney & Knuckles) who were resigned to play Libero at a younger age because of their short height.

Shaylee and Shayla both may not be tall enough to play for us up front. The shorter girls need to be able to jump like kangaroos to compensate for their stature in order to play for Nebraska.

Ally reaching new heights Hopefully this continues helping her jump, because right now with an approach she is not getting much air at all, she has 2 years to fix that and luckily it’s a fixable problem

She has one of the highest verticals in the entire 21 class. Maybe you mean her contact point could be improved? Did u watch her recent club matches? The girl is a monster. Elite little player here.
