She has one of the highest verticals in the entire 21 class. . Nah...one of top in entire class? No way. You must haven’t seen most of the leapers in this class. Possibly not even top 5-10 in Texas. She is a baller though but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

When watching her games on YouTube, it seems that her feet do not make it far off the ground. I’m not being hard on her or saying she can’t jump, I’m just saying I think she will need to be jumping higher come college, which I’m sure will happen. When an OH of her size can jump as well as the other, that’s when u see these monster college OHs. Also, where is her vertical listed along with the rest of her 2021 class? If we are gonna say she has one of the top in her class than I’d like to see that data sheet because so many girls whether as good as her or not can jump extremely high. I wouldn’t put her vertical above average.
After watching this YouTube vid there is no way she has a top vertical in her class. She has great control and range and a vertical is fixable so I’m sure it will get higher. But currently her vertical is not high. Just watch her how far her feet get from the ground. This being said, she is still a dominant player in her class and one of the best 2021 players. She is extremely good and I’m not taking that away from her at all. But to say she has a high vertical is quite a stretch.

I saw the outside for Power, Kristen Birmingham jump and my mouth dropped. I assumed the guy she gave her warm up stuff to was her dad so I asked him what her vert was and he said 33 inches. I thought no way and asked what she touched and he said 10’7. He said go check out her twitter she just posted it that week. Again, not taking away from this young lady but this is what a high vert looks like.

She is not extending fully when hitting but her movement is much better than I expected. Her passing and ball control is solid. The little things will be fixed and then we have a player that is going to be very special.

Are people nitpicking the vertical of a 16 year old who's 6'4"? Her jump touch is not going to be an issue whatsoever.

What about Shaylee Myers and Shayla Meyer? You said Shayla Meyer is a “whopper. “ 'Meh. Does that mean you don’t like them?

How much talent is there in Nebraska for beyond the 2021 class? The in-state talent is supposedly better in coming years For 2022 the only ones I’ve heard of that might be good enough are listed below. They’re both not tall enough to play for us unless they can play Libero. There could be others but none tall enough for us. I think Mya might be able to play Libero for us if she’s interested. She’s pretty good all around. Mya Larson - 5’11”- OH - Wahoo, NE Ava LeGrand - 5’11”- OH - Papillion, NE I don’t know about 2023 but there are two 7th graders (2024) I know of that are being noticed by those that matter. Who are the 7th graders?

L - Olivia Mauch OH- Taylor Silverberg I dont think silverberg will break 5'10 How tall is she? Most girls grow thru age 15 so she still has about 2 years left. Could she be a good libero candidate?

Hopefully this continues helping her jump, because right now with an approach she is not getting much air at all, she has 2 years to fix that and luckily it’s a fixable problem Ya'll are way too hard on this girl. She's going to be a star in college (on the left, IMO). Right side

Hayden Kubik is a major target right now. They were hoping she would show out during club this spring and she hasn't disappointed.
