I'd have to go with the 2009 Penn State vs Texas NCAA Championship match. Even though, I was in the 5th grade then, I remember my sister and I jumping and screaming all over the place because of the intensity of the match. What do you think has been the best match in women's college volleyball so far? Here's a link to the match: Any match that will make you cry in one minute and scream out of joy the next. For me, it's 2009 PSU vs. Texas and 2008 PSU vs. Nebraska.

I'm a homer...3 hrs 38 minutes (side-out scoring)...1998 Hawaii vs. BYU (15-12, 21-19, 11-15, 16-18, 24-22).
I also like 2008 Nebraska vs Penn State National Semi's.

I don't know about all-time, but of those I've been to in person, 2012 Oregon at Washington was pretty amazing. 26-24, 16-25, 21-25, 32-30, 25-23 Huskies had to survive 14 match points against a team that ended up in the national finals. Not to mention while losing Vansant to injury in the fourth set.

1998 championship Misty May and long beach playing PSU. Old school scoring... Epic.

IIRC, Gabby Parker (from Eugene) came in for Vansant and was instrumental in beating her hometown Ducks. Due to very annoying TV scheduling that replaced crucial end-of-season volleyball with an entire week of MBB pre-season fluff, the match was not broadcast.

Hooker vs. Hodge. All that needs to be said If it was just Hodge vs. Hooker, then Texas wins, but Hodge had a lot of help.

Texas focused so hard on PSU's big guns, Balza and Dorton had great contributions! Especially since Brown was pretty much a no show for that match.

My favorite part of this article: (As for the teams' divergent styles, between points Cacciamani whispered prayers to herself while the 49ers used the time to trash-talk through the
net.)
