Thoughts? How will this impact the bid events starting in Jan? Will Hitmen break into to the Gold Division at BJNC or maybe medal? Stay tuned to find out.

Milwaukee VBC 16's just completed tryouts and loaded up with 5 new players. We will see at Palos in few weeks how they stack up. Finished 5th at Nats last year.

From what I hear MB Surf 15 and 949 15 are both solid teams. They have played each other twice and are 1-1 against each other. HBC 15, SG Elite 15 and Pali 15 are also good. Some highlights of 949 15 from a couple weeks ago

The 15s got more interesting this weekend.
Pali 15 beat 949 15. Pali 15 finished first in pool play in one of the pools for seedlings 9-16 in the 15 and 16s.
MB Surf 15 finished first in the other pool for seedlings 9-16.
In the playoffs, 949 15 played a very good game and beat MB Surf 15. Pali 15 lost in the other playoff game to Scvc 16.
There is no clear favorite for 15s in Southern California.

At GLC tourney today, Hitmen 16s played D1 in the finals. I didnt get to stay, but im assuming they won the whole thing. Sports performance got killed in two sets in the semis by d1. Hitmen isn't is not anything special, however, recently they have been playing consistent. Sports performance 16s is a tall team (one outside is 6'6). They also have a pretty solid setter, however they lack in serve receive and defense.

Eight players are from Ka Ulukoa M14Black Mizuno, last year's 14 Open champions. They are a big team (6'3" setter, all pins and middles 6'2" or taller). Last year they beat 949 at the qualifier and mb surf and hbc at nationals - all in 2.

It sounds like the SASVBC 15 will be the favorites.
I don't think Pali 15 has lost a match to another 15s team this year. They have moved up pools and have continued to do well winning pool play this past weekend.
