My impressions so far: 1) Tayler Higgins has been a pleasant surprise, especially behind the service line. I'm wondering why she wasn't utilized as a serving specialist last season. 2) Passing needs some work. It wasn't a strong point last season, but it isn't something they can afford to do with this team. 3) Long and Olevao both seem improved, but I wonder if they are improved enough. Their consistency does seem better with less errors, but they also aren't producing many kills against what seems like a mediocre defensive team. 4) Blocking seems a lot better than last year.
Anyone else wondering when we will see Greely in the front row?

I wish they would try a 31 set to Magill.

Not only Greeley should see the front.....but Kendra hopefully gets in too. They are both weapons that Hawaii is not utilizing.
I understand Kendra has been concentrating on setting....but looking at tonight's outside hitters....I bet she could have locked up that OPP position she is that talented. And her blocking is amazing too.
I really believe Kendra being second fiddle and on the bench is a real waste of talent IMO.

Then again, it is kind of nice seeing Shoji let the LSs play a little. Long is starting to step it up.
