If you have looked in the papers at the difference in $$ playing in a BCS bowl vs. the "other" bowls, you can see that the win over OK was a $13,000,000 win -- not too hard to take!! ;D ;D

If you have looked in the papers at the difference in $$ playing in a BCS bowl vs. the "other" bowls, you can see that the win over OK was a $13,000,000 win -- not too hard to take!! ;D ;D Since all of the Big 12 bowl payouts (less approved expenses for the participating teams) go into a pot that is divided evenly among the members, the win over Oklahoma did not have any direct monetary value to KSU. If OU had won the game, Texas would have been in a BCS game, so the net result for the conference and the member schools was zero.
