I like Kahakai at libero, keep Greeley and Manu-Olevau on the left, Huff on the right.

Tough loss for the Wahine against 25th ranked Macey Gardner, but I'm really excited to see how the freshmen, especially Greeley, develop during the course of this season. I have high hopes for this team.

always tough to see the wahine lose. but this was a young hawaii team that, despite getting swept, played tough against a veteran asu team.

Kendra deserves the start tomorrow.
I never thought I would say this, but we are going to miss tai tomorrow. Tai is playing lights out right now. Looks like the lineup will be long Greeley and passi.

Higgins sets looker a little off tonight even in a good pass. Nevertheless, I still hope Kendra sees the court more often.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Higgins and she is an amazing setter, but I just want one match to see what Kendra can do. Hawaii is playing without their best player in Taylor, when she comes back, the wahine should be fine

With all the hype I've heard about Magill and her athleticism, I am still befuddled why she's only set the 1....not even a 31 set....

I'm not even bummed about the loss. Seeing all the freshmen play and the potential they have is just exciting.
This team had two starters back from last year's team (and their go-to player is injured) and they went toe to toe with a good ASU team.

Magill has the potential, Higgins just can't set her. Her sets to her are off. But it's still early, the wahine will be fine

I know Higgins can, but I think Kendra is more than capable.

Agreed, had they had taylor, I would have easily seen the wahine winning.

Yes...the line-up in the third set was a young team...Higgins (soph), Greeley (fr), Huff (fr), Kahakai (fr)....Maybe, if she doesn't heal by next week, lets just red-shirt Taylor and we'll have three years with Greeley, Taylor, Huff as our OHs....hahaha...thinking too far ahead. Greeley, sort of reminded me of Kahumoku in her built, her hitting...but Greeley seems to be a better passer and I kind of like her serve...seems as if her serve can be consistent, it's a line drive float.

By the way...congrats to ASU. Gardner is a stud. She definitely showed what having terminator can do for a team.
