And Greeley was the only one out of herself, Passi and Long that could consistently get that ball down. Greeley needs to start.

Higgins sets looker a little off tonight even in a good pass. Nevertheless, I still hope Kendra sees the court more often. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of Higgins and she is an amazing setter, but I just want one match to see what Kendra can do. Hawaii is playing without their best player in Taylor, when she comes back, the wahine should be fine I couldn't help but think towards the end of the match that Higgins looked rattled.

By the way...congrats to ASU. Gardner is a stud. She definitely showed what having terminator can do for a team. Yes Congrats ASU! Best of luck the rest of the season! Aloha!

My biggest concern is Passi....where is she?

It looks like that when Taylor comes back the Greeley, Olevao, Taylor combo will be fine, competitive with anyone. Hawaii could have easily won sets two and three tonight.

I think the most glaring thing is that Greeley seems like the only one who could effectively put the ball down out of system. Olevao hit for a high percentage, but most of her kills were in system. An out of system attacker is something Hawaii sorely needs, and the main reason I am hoping it is Greeley on the LS with Taylor when she gets healthy.

That combo, especially since tai has improved leaps and bounds should be fine. The big question is the setter. I know tayler Higgins has the potential to be an elite setter, but she needs to realize it.

Hawaii always has a calm setter that never really gets flustered. Higgins will be fine, but hope she develops that calmness. They need someone like that on the court

I think we all know that she has what it takes to guide this team but she has to continue to go out there and prove it like we know she can. We are rooting for you Higgins! But with that said, I really do hope that Kendra is given an opportunity to show us what she got! Allow her to set a game if nothing else.

Aw, Olivia McGill is so sweet. Thank goodness she decided to transfer to Hawaii.
Koelsch did a better job of setting her. I hope Higgins and Koelsch spend a lot of time working on that connection because McGill can soar.

I really want to see more of what Kendra can do! Higgins is a leader and a good setter, but Kendra does have a height advantage. That dump shot was effortless!

And in reality, ALOT of top teams struggled this weekend. Nebraska lost, Minnesota lost to an unranked team. USC and Washington both went to five against unranked teams. Asu is a veteran team and picked to finish fourth in the pac12. It's a hard loss, but not a horrible one

Parking at the SSC... $6.00 Admission to the Wahine match... $20.00 32 oz beer... $8.50 Watching the Wahine get swept at home by a pedestrian Sun Devil team... priceless.
Even with Taylor out this was a very winnable match for Hawai'i but too many sloppy plays and service errors for the Wahine to capitalize. I understand this is a young Wahine team trying to find its identity but to compete only to fumble away points and come away without winning a single game is disappointing. Higgins was off tonight, as was Mendoza, and Hawaii was terrible from the service line. With Taylor out, Hawai'i doesn't have a player that they can rely on for kills out-of-system. I miss Hartong already.
