Wisconsin leap-frogged Washington and USC, after both were taken to five by unranked opponents (Gonzaga and Pacific). Will play both in Seattle on the 18th and 19th.
Wisconsin has to get by #13 CSU at Fort Collins. Washington has to get by #10 BYU at Provo. USC has to get by #11 Florida at home.

Interesting scenario if they meet in a couple weeks at 4,6,7. But they all have to get through some tough tests before then, especially with some of the rust Washington and USC has apparently shown. Then again, wisco playing away to ranked opponents at altitude worries me. I guess it's only 5k', but still.

I'm surprised Dunning has ranked wisco #1 ... not that I'm complaining. Could be he thinks we are basically the same team that was runner-up and Penn State has lost a lot of people, so it's just carry-over from the tournament.
OK, thinking too much...that's the last time I'm looking at that list!

Could be a loss by all 3. * CSU has made that match a "white out" - a tough environment to pull out a win. I remember NE going there ranked 5th and losing in 5.

Shondell must not have watched the Stanford team I saw on Sunday. He actually might not have... You'd think a dominating win over Nebraska AT Nebraska would merit more respect from the Gold and Black skipper.

That's way too low, though I think the jury is out on whether Nebraska and Iowa St.'s level of play are living up to the brand name.

Washington is starting three freshmen (Tanner, Scambray, and Jones) out of nine starters (in the 6-2), and has played five. USC is without Nwanebu.

I am glad to see Florida State get the respect of the voting coaches this week and move up to #8 in AVCA Coaches Poll..I predicted Noles would come in at # 10 so to see the #8 ranking.. was a nice surprise..
Glad they are playing # 11 ranked Florida in Tully this Thursday night. Can be viewed on ESPN3 at 6 PM EST.
Will be good to take down those Gators once again.a repeat of round 2 of the NCAA last Dec..
GO Noles !

I love it. Russ rose ranked his team 6. Everyone else has the 1,2 or 3. Lol Rose is a class act and has the confidence to know it will all be eventually resolved on the court, not in a poll. I agree regarding him as a class act but don't get how him voting his team 6th shows that?

You'd think a dominating win over Nebraska AT Nebraska would merit more respect from the Gold and Black skipper. A clue for ronnie and pepper: I'm sure that Dave has the proper amount of respect for Stanford and was closely watching the beatdown they gave Nebraska for clues as to how he can do the same when they meet in the B1G season. However, the Cards coach Steve is the Shondell brother that is tasked with filling in the weekly coaches poll. He will not have to worry about facing either Nebraska or Stanford this year, so he may or may not have paid much attention to the match.

When you vote your team the actual number that you are ultimately ranked by the other coaches, I would say its probably fairly close to accurate. Nebraska didn't play well for sure, but Stanford is going to make a lot of teams look bad. Stanford isn't Notre Dame, or Louisville good sir.

Steve should have known better, too.
