Wow, I didn't know Allison Bastianelli was so highly regarded. Never seen her play. Anyone got video?

Pay attention ... you'll need to ask the all knowing pelcj11, as he is the final arbiter. I think it's gotta be Wisconsin at this point. How about we using Cross Country finishing rank as our arbiter? The way that works first guy across gets 1, second guy 2, etc, lowest score is team overall victor... That's about scientific as anything else. In my book, the highest rank class is the one that does the best once they get into college (their body of work over the life of their attendance at the U.) so this is kind of silly.

Fantastic and deserving for Ali and Jordyn! Great class for the Illini!

Not that the actually recruit class ranking matters, but Wisconsin will have 2 top 10s, #12, #21 and 2 others in the top 100. Unless both of Texas's are top 4, I'd vote Badgers. They'll be able to replace their graduating starters with top notch recruits: Potential 2015 Line Up: OH-Kriskova OH-Duello/Bates MB-Williams/Blake/Morgan MB-Nelson RS-Fricano S-Carlini Libero-Morey

Cross Country finishing rank assumes everybody has the same number of runners, though. If Texas is getting 3 recruits and Wisconisn 6, then Texas would automatically have the lowest score.

This ranking is a point in time, so I believe someone can be deemed "better" in the spring, when the college rankings are printed?

She's got all the tools. Her mom was a DII All-American, and coached her in junior high/a year in high school (I can't remember). I think she'll be good with Hambly.

Cross country won't work to evaluate the classes. Because a five person class of recruits with two in the 80's and the others just outside the one hundred is much better than a class of 1 in the 70's and that is it. The needs of a program have to be addressed
That said Texas and Wisconsin should be one and two going either way but last years Texas class didn't have a top 30 class but most people would say adding Cat McCoy is going to pay huge dividends down the road. Sometimes due to transfers a class is not big size wise but extremely important to the program

3 thoughts about tomorrow's top 10.
1) Wisconsin and Texas will be stacked with young talent (as everyone already knew). 2) I'm glad SSS got in there. Well deserved for the 2nd best setter in the country. 3) Damn...I wish Minnesota could've beaten out Purdue for Alexa Smith. She's going to be an awesome collegiate LS.

Should have stayed west. UW, Oregon, and Arizona could have all used her next year.

Purdue has the potential to be so freakin good next year with Smith and Stahl on the left, Cuttino and Mohler in the middle, Evans or Dimke setting, Drews on the right, and Neill at libero!

In the scenerio, Adelaja and Ambrose would be coming off the bench too. Whichever lineup Shondell goes with, that Boilermaker team is going to be stacked.
