Wow, people love to talk about Miss State on this site and their coach's winning problems, like Miss State has EVER been good in volleyball EVER. I'm sure they are due for a coaching change down there and I'm sure Jenny is probably ready for a change herself--but, we get it--they are bad; not sure it's worth this much discussion though. With the other SEC schools as competition, no HS volleyball and Starkville as the backdrop, best of luck to whoever wants that job.

Has there ever been a more aptly named town than STARKville?
I spent a year there one week.

Bowling Green seems to be on a downward spiral. Hot start with previous coach recruits now in single digit wins.

Bowling Green seems to be on a downward spiral. Hot start with previous coach recruits now in single digit wins. Coach really burned a lot of bridges by blaming the outgoing senior class for everything after a MAC tourney loss. She's a tough nut to crack.

This is Tomic's third season. Do you have some inside info that you want to divulge? Unless there are some inside info....I bet they give her more time for one bad season.

Returned starters in every position after 2012 MAC title. Goes 14-16 and first round defeat following year. That is failure to lead. If she is going to claim that championship was hers, then she has to accept responsibility for the 2 years after. Current RPI in the mid to high 200's is terrible. There are impact freshman in every conference. Where are hers? The team is not as young as she wants you to believe. Lots of sophomores, and a couple seniors. Can't motivate, disses seniors as their careers wind down. Never ever has she taken responsibility. It is always citing players as the problem. Interviewed for Iowa position after Dingman left. 2 years at BG and she was under the illusion she could move up the career ladder. Take a close look at her career. Plot it on a graph at each location. This downward turn for BGSU is typical for her. You have to feel for the players. Good kids who are not veing coached by someone committed to anyone but herself. Word is out and recruiting will be her biggest challenge.

I'm a little confused here. Tomic was very successful at FIU. She hasn't been a head coach anywhere else. What downward turn are you talking about?

It probably doesn't help that Sunjic missed a lot of time for BGSu. I was impressed with her last season in Madison.

Erica Fullenkamp is the only player on the current BGSU roster that was recruited by the previous staff. The other senior (Bates) was recruited by Tomic after she got to BG. The previous staff left a scholarship open for the new staff. I don't think BG will get rid of Tomic but this current team (12 of the 13 players on the roster) is hers except for Fullenkamp.

It seems like BG will keep her for another year, unless she has really caused a lot of problems in the Athletic program.
It is more likely for Bradley, Nevada, Weber St., and the Montana schools to have hotter seats then she does.

it is beyond comprehension how Notre Dame is so bad, year after year...

it is beyond comprehension how Notre Dame is so bad, year after year... Seems like she is always talked about on here, but every season she is still there. Speaking of ACC schools. How about BC?

BC has improved and is competitive and the administration doesn't have real high expectations for the program, so I'd say he's not on the hotseat at all. Debbie Brown is a legend at ND, she'll decide her own fate herself
