PAC-12 is 9-4 against the B1G: Northwestern 3-2 Colorado Ohio State 0-3 Oregon And that's even before Maryland plays a Pac-12 team. The Terps would be raw meat for most Pac-12 teams.

Not to make excuses, but everyone realizes that Michigan is playing without their senior HM AA setter, Dannemiller, right? I mean, it was going to be a rebuilding year in the first place. Anyone know her prognosis? Well, we also lost our former 1st team AA setter. Trying to decide if Shebby is having a better freshman start than Brenner did. Brenner did end up playing well and beating Penn St her first year. The defining match of Brenner's freshman season was Stanford at Maples. Biggest win of the season (I don't think we'd ever won there before) and she had 30+ kills hitting over .500. So Brenner beat Penn St and Stanford her first year here. Forgot about that.

Anyone know her prognosis? Well, we also lost our former 1st team AA setter. Even more to the point, Michigan's setter position was not the problem this weekend, at least offensively. The team admittedly played poor defence. Part of that was passing; part of it was undersized left side hitters and poor blocking overall. Lexi's absence is an excuse, but not an explanation. www.michigandaily.com/section/sports/volleyball
