Taylor Higgins is very athletic but if we are going to compete this season in the Big west, we are going to need a good and consistent quarterback to lead us. we just gotta hope she improves her consistency as the season wears on. there's finally a good connection b/w higgins and magill ... gets them to set point. 24-19

I think Tai Manu-Olevao worked some wiccan spell because all of her hits are inexplicably going down as kills.

Tai Manu-Olevao can do no wrong in Set 1. Ends the set with a Back Right attack.

I disagree that she's a down grade. Mafua and Uiato both struggled, especially and again, with the middle connection. Well, she has NO CONNECTION with Magill. The fact that Magill is hitting .400 on the season is to Magill's credit. Her sets to the pins are equally as bad. i disagree with this. obviously, i know you're exaggerating ... but really, their connection is much better now than it was at the start of the season. hawaii has never relied this much on that front one set to the middle. that's a tough timing set to get right every single time b/w setter and hitter. go to it as many times as hawaii is, and any connection issues will certainly be magnified. that said ... higgins' connection with magill improved even by the end of this first set. let's see if her location to the pins find its rhythm now.

I don't really disagree, but I think the Uiato/Jade connection may have been even less successful.
