Set 2 25-21 Broncos! Up 2-0 at the half. BYU made a setting change halfway through set two to Robbins-Hardy, and then made a run behind Hamson"s serving and Gray's hitting, but not enough. Bronco sophomore OH Nikki Hess is on fire.

That is Santa Clara's 4th win over a top 25 team this season! Yep.. but in terms of RPI they will only have three: BYU, Duke, and San Diego. and regardless, their overall Resume is good for the NCAA tournament but they have to finish strong. Not many school's competing for an at-large have a 100+ RPI, but most of those teams do not have the amount of wins that Santa Clara does. Santa Clara Overall Record: (16-7) Non-Conference Record: (9-3) Conference Record: (7-4) RPI: 49 Worst Loss (by RPI): 114 UCSB Significant Wins (Top 70 RPI): 19 Duke, 23 BYU, 24 San Diego, 37 Loyola Marymount, 51 Pacific Significant Losses (100+ RPI): 114 UCSB Record vs. Top 50 RPI: 4-3 Record vs. Top 100 RPI: 4-5

Wow. Santa Clara swept/crushed BYU San Francisco swept San Diego. And Gonzaga went to the wire with LMU before falling 20-18 in the 5th set. Another crazy night in the WCC.
