Thank you for sharing, redbeard2008. I find it amazing only half of a block separates #2 from #66. Talk about tight competition. Wow. Great to see Lianna Sybeldon having the great blocking season she is - as I stated in the UW thread. She's really risen up! No surprise that programs in Texas, Minnesota, BYU have a large presence in the above list. They are solid blocking teams, and have been for as long as I can remember.

What superises me the most is hawaii being 3rd in blocks. Hawaii has always been a decent/good blocking team, but this year with the addition of Magill, hawaii is a force when it comes to blocks.
MAGILL has been a very pleasant surprise and it wouldn't shock me to see her as an AA this year. sybeldon as well. She's amazing

I've caught a few BYU games and Amy Boswell is so easy to cheer for. Reminds me a lot of Jen Cross: talented, competitive, but above all, looks like a fun teammate to have on the court.

What wow no PSU up there. That's a surprise or maybe not. Psu just decided this last weekend that they were gonna start blocking. They didn't need it so much in ooc with offensive they were producing. I was concerned about that also. They seemed to pick it up this week especially against Minnesota. Give it time. Nia grant was raking in blocks in that Minnesota match

Psu also doesn't have a true middle out there right now. They have players that play it but Haleigh Washington is that true middle and they have been nursing her back from injury slowly

Not really, the players were getting beat on the blocks earlier and now are more prepared to block as a team. The freshmen are still learning the college game and will be much better later in the season.

It was night and day.

What wow no PSU up there. That's a surprise or maybe not. Washington has 1.33 per set, but she did not play enough set to be listed on NCAA stats.
