I was looking at Rich Kern's site where he lists all recent DI players (by team), showing how many months they committed before actually starting to play for their school. The longest that I could find (no big surprise, I guess) was Lauren Carlini, who committed to Wisconsin 54 months before she played her first game last September. (Would that be March of her 8th grade year?)
The Rolfzen twins committed to Nebraska 51 months before they began playing, and I saw that Chloe Collins of Texas clocked in at 40 months. Of course, Stanford, with their unusual academic admission requirements, doesn't have any players with more than 16 or 17 months. Doesn't seem to keep them from getting their share of talent, though.
Are there any other recent, current, or future players who signed on very, very early?

Anyone who commits their freshman will have a lot of time. I saw that 2017 Alexis Hamilton a libero committed to Louisville back in January. This will give her 40+ months before she is on the court there.

Most, like Frantti, did not have verbal offers of scholarships when they write the letters. Frantii's offer from PSU came pretty late in the process by today's standards.

So that's 48+ months. If you want to get technical, the commentators stated that she sent the letter in 7th grade. Apparently the girl likes to plan ahead.
