Usually...you would think teams would be better at scouting that, yet she still hits over .400 every match...stupid... I'd be cheating cross court at least -- I mean, make her prove she can hit somewhere else. I know, right?

Does the Huskies setting and floor defense look a lot better or is it just a lack of resistance?

Does the Huskies setting and floor defense look a lot better or is it just a lack of resistance? Strickland played better...came up with some solid digs. I'd give her a B today.

It wouldn't surprised me at all if SC drops their match at WSU.

USC wouldn't lose so many free points if they could cover the block. I picked up the match at the beginning of the second set....and have already counted 2 shots that could EASILY have been picked up off of block coverage, they just let fall....stupid. Quite a few USC girls seem scared to dive and hit the floor. some of these block coverage shots they wouldn't even need to dive, just play the ball...seriously.

Does the Huskies setting and floor defense look a lot better or is it just a lack of resistance? USC's O is very predictable ... moon balls make it easier on the diggers

USC's O is very predictable ... moon balls make it easier on the diggers And these aren't even GOOD moon balls most of the time....often outside the antenna or way off the net. If you are gonna put up a predictable set, at least put up a good predictable set, sheesh.

Watching the PAC-12 Ambassadors video. Why is Jennifer Hamson on the plane with the team? Did we adopt a BYU ringer?

If you are gonna put up a predictable set, at least put up a good predictable set, sheesh. And that's why I miss Kendall Bateman. Was she flashy? No. Was she deceptive? Hardly. But she was always top 5-10 in assists per set (for her soph junior & sr years).. She always put up greatly located (yet very high) sets to the pins. It worked for USC's big pins.. She had such clean hands.. An overall solid setter. Not too many herer on VT were impressed with her throughout her career, but I was.
