OK ... I just saw the stats for set 4. Obviously they do not define a dig the same as the NCAA does. Can one of you international VB gurus educate me on their definition?

A "dig" is counted when it leads to a kill (not a kill opportunity like NCAA)...

A "dig" is counted when it leads to a kill (not a kill opportunity like NCAA)... What an awesome way to record it; it's like a second assist. There is still no dig on a serve recieve in the int. game?

So the dug ball would have to go across the net and fall for a winner for it to be counted as a dig?? Interesting. Thanks. Oh, wait.... you said "leads to a kill" not "is a kill" . So that means its like a set. Have I got it right?

Advancing to the third round is now looking pretty good. Could clinch by tomorrow.

When the opposition attacks, you control it and pass it to the setter, the setter sets the ball and your team scores on that set.. then the player that controlled the attack (dig) is credited with a dig.

USA routes late 25-15, winning a competitive match decisively. That can't be true. Kokyu has told us that none of the current players can play and the coaches can't coach. So how can they win any matches?

Serbia beat Netherlands, so I think an easy clinch is out. We're in great shape, especially if we beat Bulgaria tomorrow. Doubt Kazahkstan can beat Serbia, Netherlands lost three close sets. Serbia is four points behind us.

We can't defend the backrow attack because we never see one in practice So you've never been to a practice?

So how can they win any matches? His silence when we win is deafening. He only pops up (off) when we struggle. He probably missed the match while he trains Plum/Kreklow so they will be ready to replace Glass/Thompson.

Even though she had some miscues early, she did a great job today. She looked a lot more comfortable out there than she did in WGP (and the out of system sets look higher too)

I am not sure but I think a dig is an outstanding save.. Those balls are counted as digs as much as I remember, I have read this somewhere.. So balls like free ball pass or easy attack into your hands is not counted as a dig.

Watching the archived game on Universal Sports and you mean to tell me USA had a significant lead and lost the set? Ok...well, glad they were able to fix whatever the issues were.
