Any word out on the street on the Ohio D3 circuit (Marietta, Capital, Denison, Baldwin-Wallace)? Capital was offered to 3 different folks and was turned down by all 3. Also, MTSU is a done deal, might be jumping through hoops for the sake of the process but this one is going to leave you really red carded. Eastern Mich has been offered and waiting for an answer and for the snow to clear up. red carded!? A hot head to add to the program...that should be interesting. Capital turn downs any reasoning? Way to go Eastern Mich. should be a good fit

well this one actually made sense for a change. A program that needs building hiring someone who actually has done that as a head coach. Not one of the "rising young coaches" fresh off assisting with big program and a tradition while loaded with a ton resources. Should be a good fit.

Agreed - great guy, always a pleasure to meet with on the recruiting trail. Best of luck to him and the Zips!

Is this posting just a formality, and Katie will move into that position after being a grad asst?

How does this make sense, in nine years he won 5 more matches than he has lost !!!! Hanna joins the Zips after nine seasons as the head coach at Marist College where he amassed a 139-134 overall record, including an 89-73 mark in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference.

Take a trip to Poughkeepsie and you'll understand. Regional school in a non-volleyball region getting to the top of their conference is pretty good.

Sorry my mistake, should have read the whole article. His last couple of years his winning record was much better,,, started slow then built program. Good luck to Akron and coach. Would love to see the MAC get stronger.
