What are the chances that Tennessee and Mississippi State both open next week? 0% both open You really think Tenn is going to keep Rob? Even with all the transferring going on?

ACC job opening very soon. Long overdue. Let me guess, Boston College? Would not be surprised. That wasn't a good hire to begin with, but we know that the support they give them is terrible. Wonder if they are willing to up that.

I agree but not the one I was talking about. Longer overdue. Well, that would only be Notre Dame I'm thinking they may give a couple-three years leeway in light of new conference? Especially to such a long-term coach...

This is where hints become dangerous. It's not fair to at least two of the coaches of the 3 ACC schools mentioned, to be mentioned here.

I agree with you in principal, but that's what these boards are for. Speculation and information (and yes... rumors). It's why people come here. Nobody worth anything (me included) will take what is said here with any seriousness unless someone reveals the name before the school does. I won't do that in "fairness" to the coach. P.s. You're probably right... I should not have said anything. I won't do that again.

And every post that mentions the coach of school with a certain mascot - that may be at different schools. Or that the coach of a school in a specific state... I do agree that the random naming of schools/coaches where there is no reasoning or they don't match the clues is useless to the thread.

I don't think there is anything "dangerous" about this stuff. Regardless, it has turned into a pretty good multiple choice question at this point. There are four viable answers and possibly more than one correct answer. I only know of one them, though.

Would be surprised if it was BC. They're having their best season in years, and they probably don't care.
