Did this ACC school fire a far more successful coach in the name of performance?

Would be surprised if it was BC. They're having their best season in years, and they probably don't care. I think BC given their support, did pretty well, and finished where they should be expected to. The ACC has IMO the single most underachieving program in the country given that programs resources, its geographical location, and the universities appeal to prospective student-athletes.

Notre Dame has had a few bad years in a row. It hasn't always been bad.

Notre Dame has had a few bad years in a row. It hasn't always been bad. Over the past 16 years, their highest final pablo ranking is 19, in 2005. that is the only time they were in the top 25. Many people feel that the school should be a perennial contender, not just for a league championship, but for a NC. And their ranking has plummeted the last few years.

I agree. they fell between Lehigh and Buffalo in RPI, pretty much every womens team on campus is in top 25 if not top 10.

Good luck with that. Are there even a double-digit amount of those jobs out there - FT Asst for D3? Why not D2, NAIA, JuCO as well? Why D3 only? No reason at all, just bad wording. Not enough experience/desire to go D1, anywhere beyond that I'm all for Experience and desire such a different reasons. I guess another bad wording? Just teasing ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) .

Well Swaneys14, if your real life recruiting is proportional to your talent for fantasy volleyball drafting, then I give you my vote of confidence.

It seems like one in the middle of the pack... 'Cuse? He only has been in there like 2 years and it isn't like Louisville has done amazing either. He needs times for his international players to cover their pro leaguea trails.

FWIW - before you decide to announce an opening, take a moment and use the search area in the upper-right hand corner of the thread to see if that news has already been "broken"....pretty please.....
