PTW results after Saturday matches:
PTW favored teams had won: Saturday: 4/6 (3 home teams won, UNLV won as home underdog) Overall: 14/20 (bad as it seemed, still at 70%, which is actually not bad)
Average PTW score: Saturday: 3.6/6 Overall: 13.1/20 (2 points below last week)
PTW leading entries: Saturday: 5/6 (10/87) Overall: 15/20 (14/87) This week's winner will likely be by tie-breaking

Definitely chose the right week to make some upset picks. Unfortunately I picked all the wrong matches for upsets. Coupled with the actual upsets, bye-bye 5 pick lead.

California), and could have a tie for the lowest weekly winning score of the season.

You all should try a reverse contest. See who can, intentionally, pick the fewest winners. Seriously.
I know it's pretty much just picking the opposite team, but I think people might actually find it more challenging.

A few PTW risk-takers have sort of done that, and paid for it (which means they could have won your version . My suggestion for doing well in PTW is to go with the VT flow for 22-23 matches, and pick the more likely upsets for 2-3 matches each week. Don't ever pick more than 3 upsets. Too bad I didn't come up with that suggestion for myself when I played.

That's if you want to win. There's something to be said for having the best overall season %, even if you never win a week.

Doesn't such a contest already implicitly exist? Just look at the list posted by vbbetterthanbb and instead of reading top down, read bottom up. And for the tiebreaker, look to see which is farthest from the actual. Or, are you suggesting that for such a contest, people would make different picks. If so, how did you reach such a conclusion?
