I challenge you. I definitely won't join that challenge, but will be happy to tabulate and post the results as such .

Iam not trying to intentionally pick the fewest winners...................... Doesn't such a contest already implicitly exist? Just look at the list posted by vbbetterthanbb and instead of reading top down, read bottom up. And for the tiebreaker, look to see which is farthest from the actual. Or, are you suggesting that for such a contest, people would make different picks. If so, how did you reach such a conclusion? For that challenge to make sense, people DO have to submit 2 different sets of picks. I would laugh my ___ off if it ever happens that a "challenge" set from a member actually out scores that member's official PTW set !

There are some folks who would like to know about the upsets. The following is an attempt. Please let me know if this is useless or useful (since the info is after the fact). ... publius, should folks be allowed to post those alerts in this thread?

Because, at least in my case, I never entered this contest strictly picking the favorites. I, like vb suggested, always tried to pick a few upsets so I could win that week's edition. In a reverse contest, at least for one week, I would simply pick the teams I definitely think are going to lose. Yes, if I were competing against a lot of people, I'd probably end up with the same strategy as PtW.

And, in my Contest days, when I trudged miles in the snow to find a computer to access the internet, my successes were due to always picking the Pablo favorite except when my research saw that the favorite had a player who had been injured or was otherwise unavailable, or was playing at a venue with an abnormally high HCA (IMO, and I have a lot of experience, having been to almost all venues), or some such what I would call insight into why Pablo might miss the boat on this specific call.

But that's why you were so good at it. The rest of us are lazy.
Favorite, meaning the team I think should win. I didn't think there was any way to win without picking an upset. The 4 out of 10 (or less) match.

I can see it now. First player: I got this, 0. Second player: wait a minute, that's not legal, you can't have 0 First player: OK, 75 Second player: OK, 500 First player: now wait a minute...
