I've nothing to say about this match, but a couple comments on this thread:
I agree with some other posters: Washington should get some first place votes. I would be fine with UW being #1 team in nation right now. They are playing like it.
I think Burgess and Hodson will be the OH's next season. As for RS: too many possibilities. I doubt Dunning even knows.

Humphreys should not be playing the backrow. She did horrible last night. Gilbert continually frustrates me. She always seems out of position or late. I can't believe how many of Howard's tips fell. My lord.

I'm somewhat bewildered by all the Stanford grumbling....maybe it's just coming from a handful of negative Nancys...but it's weird. You do realize Stanford is now 21-0; 11-0 in Pac; and they're ranked #1? Plus last nights win makes them 60-0 vs. OSU. The problem is deep down in their hearts Stanford fans know who that the #1 team in the Pac-12 is up in Seattle. They believe their team has one finger in the dike (due to their weak outside hitting) and it is just a matter of time before the dam breaks and the flood begins. They also know that they can't beat Michigan, but that's probably on the back burner this year. The other elephant in the room, so to speak, is PSU. Stanford fans do not believe their team can beat Penn State when it really matters, at crunch time in the NCAA tournament. This inferiority complex has spread throughout the Stanford fan base like Ebola in West Africa.

I agree I think Stanford fans are mostly frustrated by the fact that this team doesn't play to its full potential. Every team in the country except for two would like to have their record and wins.

Stanford regularly kicks UW. behind late in the season, so eh on secret inferiority.PSU is a gorilla in everyone's corner, not just Stanford's. But Stanford won once, youthful exuberance should say why not again.

Neither Burgess nor Howard looks like a right side hitter to me. Neither looks like a left side hitter to me .

Speaking for myself Plus many Stanford fans we disagree with Hammer. Completely. Yep, pretty much completely. Stanford fans just tend to overanalyze while fans of other teams prefer to stick to going ga-ga over their team. Go figure.
