Congrats to Maddie Endsley for making Prep Volleyball 1st team All American (for both writers) for the 17 division this year (was also first team OH selection in 2016 and 2015).

I realize this should be in "The Past for Washington", but I couldn't find that one.

Volleyball Magazine is showing similar love to future dawgs. 17s All-Americans Anna DeBeer 5-11, OH, KiVA (Louisville) Madie Endsley, 6-2, OH, Coast (Washington) . . 16s All-Americans Lauren Bays, 5-8, Libero, Tstreet (Washington) . . I am a bit worried about our middle depth for 2021. I assume Summers and Mikkelsen are redshirting this year, because we haven't seen them in action. The roster for next two years look like this:
2020 OH: Hoffman (Jr), Crenshaw (Jr), Endsley (Fr), Bogomolova (Sr), OPP: Drechsel (Sr), Cole (R-So) MB: Grote (Jr), Summers (R-Fr) , Sanders (Sr) . S: Powell (Jr), Mikkelsen (R-Fr) . DS: Houghton (So), Calle (Sr)
2021 OH: Hoffman (Sr), Crenshaw (Sr), Endsley (So), Wilmes (Fr) OPP: Cole (R-Jr) MB: Grote (Sr), Summers (R-So) S: Powell (Sr), Mikkelsen (R-So), Wilson (Fr) DS: Houghton (So), Bays (Fr)
I believe we still have at least one scholarship for 2021 and we are desperately in need for another middle. Anyone has insights on who we are after?

It's clear we have the following recruiting holes
2020- Transfer libero, preferably one with more more than 2 years of eligibility 2021- MB 2022- MB, two OH's
I also am a bit wary on Wilson's ability to run a 5-1. I wouldn't be surprised if Cook is going to fill a setter for 2022 as well for some direct competition.

It's too bad Grote couldn't have redshirted this or last year. I suppose she could next year but I doubt it. Summers probably wound't be able to handle the load.

I am hoping Keegan will look for a libero transfer for at least two years of eligibility this coming or we might see Shannon as libero for next year....
I've heard that Olivia is on scholarship. Maybe Keegan is going back to 6-2 with Olivia and Molly setting?

I'm pretty sure she was at the Arizona game, sitting behind the Husky bench. It has been quite a while since Washington volleyball has a Canadian athlete (Darla Myhre, Kristina Laffling, Amy Tutt, Dragana Djordjevic and of course Makare Desilets)

It looks like her dad is a Wazzu grad and a football coach at Kentwood HS.

So, there's some athletic talent up there. Bush will also, I believe, be the first Native American (First Nations) athlete to play volleyball at UW. Softball has one Native American player (SilentRain Espinoza).

Tall, but looks like a project right now for a sophomore. I'm a bit surprised at this move (assuming it's a scholarship offer). UW needs a legit middle in 2021 and 2022.
