Ya I'm mad. For the parody of the sport i am. And for the sake of following rules and dealing with the mistakes we all make in recruiting. They missed on her and Chi, but got in the ears of their clubs and got at least one of them back. Let alone what that does to the programs that they are leaving. (See: Cal 2014, LSU 2015) but Elliott will do what he does. Someone will get him, but it is fun to watch him fail at the final four. (Granted it is the final four) Yeah, I could tell you were mad. You're gonna be even more mad soon enough. OK Southie spill the beans!

I've read them. The only thing on her timeline regarding Nebraska are things she's retweeted from others. She's originated nothing of her own accord.

Well lets address that. What facts have you seen that demonstrate she's "showing interest in Nebraska?" All I've seen is speculation. There is mutual interest. I never said there wasn't. And while you may know this to be true, I have seen nothing substantial to verify this as fact in my mind. I don't know you or anything about your possible ties to UNL or how you get your information. There are those on this board whose relationship to the UNL vb program is known to me, and when I hear something from them, I'll believe it as fact and not speculation. FWIW, I am not attempting to cast you in a negative light at all. As I said, I don't know you.

If you can't train them, let someone train them and then get them.

Ouch...I guess you are not a fan of JE (or his staff) in his ability to train kids?

Ouch...I guess you are not a fan of JE (or his staff) in his ability to train kids? At first I thought he was going to win big. Then I saw him get out coached at regionals when Moriarty was a senior, by Mick and Todd. Then watch several final fours where he blew 2 set leads, by coaching decisions and poor decision making by his team. Then not having his team prepared for BYU was a travesty. It was either blind faith or arrogance to attack left side consistently, even after losing the blocking battle early. His defense was not positioned to dig the big BYU right side attack. I just don't think he does what is needed to prepare his kids and help them make better decisions.

One small OH and one roller coaster OH. Not to mention inconsistent right side play and a 6-2 offense when the entire world knows they should have been in a 5-1 with Dalton. IF Holman does tranfer to UT that will solidify the MB with her and Chi BUT they need some SERIOUS help on the left side next year. With that said...I do think JE is a good coach but agree he might not be a super technical coach. As for the tactical decisions...might want to ask Eric as he puts the scouting reports together.

Could Moenoa be a possible transfer setter for Texas (grad school) they need to stabilize the offense in a 5-1?

For some reason I thought she was a rs her freshman year, guess it was just wishful thinking.

well, I think Texas fans have become ungrateful. Many schools would be very thankful to go the National Semi's as many times as they have been for the past couple of years. JE's recruiting is 5-star. And he has built quite the program for VB out in Texas. Everyone needs to remember that it is all just a game; however, I do understand championships are important. But at least you are not stuck in the Elite 8 like Stanford has been in recent years, and Nebraska, etc..... Look at that? They were once dominant and and struggled to even reach the semi's for a number of years. All programs have struggles. But Texas is always there! Far from mediocrity imo. I struggled to type this, because I cannot STAND Texas...... so, enjoy this!

The entire world that follows Texas volleyball knows that Coach Elliott was quoted during the season as stating the reason they could not run a 5-1 with Dalton never leaving the floor was due to her not holding up health-wise for the entire season.

I know some of what you said was tongue-in-cheek, but the true Longhorn fans on here (and on other sports boards) are thrilled with the job Coach Elliott has done in taking a rock-bottom program (thanks, Jim Moore) and turning into the second best program in the country over the last 8 or so years. He's not perfect, but he has many years left in his career (at Texas, hopefully) to continue to build his legacy.
