There's a lot that's been said here that's not been very positive about Carl Ferreira and the Oregon program. There's also a ways to go in this season, but a lot of us may have to recant if this keeps up.
Of course, the Pac10 season will be the real test.

Well it's still early like you said. They look better than last year but I have my doubts. Their schedule isn't that rough and their road trip was to Portland. The CSUS tournament will be interesting because it's at least outside the state for them and they can brush up on road skills you need to do well in the tournament.

More than one person has said that great coaching about 2 things: Recruiting and Scheduling
So say what you will--but this is a great schedule to get some positive vibe going. Get some props for beating Colorado but Division II, Canada (oops--UBC beat them), the very bottom of the WCC...and all at home..virtually. Can someone tell me where is Trinity Western?
With Wazzu down, Ducks may peak out of the Pac-10 basement this year.

Langley, British Columiba. A drive away from Vancouver. They had a very impressive men's team last year.
It is good to start them on a positive note and since the PAC-10 will provide ample challenge it's not that big a deal. But at least one road trip to the Midwest might have helped just in case they are put in a bracket not close to home.

Not a poll. Illinois beat USC, etc. etc. It's the magic trail back to Oregon.

Ok... you forgot the leader on that statement... especially since currently, USC = #2.
Minnesota < USC < Illinois < Loyola-Chicago < Oral Roberts < Oregon State < St. Louis < College of Charleston (they beat St. Louis?!?!) < Montana State < Boise State < Portland < Idaho (You go!) < Mizzou < Creighton (Still in disbelief) < North Colorado < Oregon

The Oregon Trail? Only took about 3 minutes.
The wonders of the Rich Kern site never cease.
