UW sets the school record with 17 B1G wins on a row...though that is made less special by Rutgers and Maryland being in the conference. I looked at one of my old media guides, though. In 1997, during the previous long winning streak, the Badgers defeated top ranked Penn State on Halloween in one of the program's most epic victory. None of the other wins in that streak, however, were against ranked teams, so this streak doesn't have the huge win, but it has several more against ranked teams.

A friend from chicago said she made a shoot set off her knees to one of your middles over the block that was killer and she ended the set with a joust. Is that true? EJ didn't play tonight. Meant during the Rutgers match. I believe she played in the second set.

Oh...the Rutgers match in Madison. Yes, that's true as I remember. We'll see on Weds when they play again. I'll be there in person, so I can let you know.

I think that is correct. She had a number of big plays IIRC.
Bb, how excited are you? Can you barely stop thinking about it? That is how I would be if I hadnt seen them at all this year.

All year? Try all decade! And the greater part of the decade before! I left Madison for NY in Spring 1998 back in the days of side out scoring Last time I was physically present at a match was Fall 1998 when I came back to watch Sherisa Livingston play as a freshman with Neels setting, I think it was her junior year. I can't remember against whom now, it may have been Indiana?
The idea that, after all these years, I will finally be attending a match in which, just by chance, they could clinch a share of the B1G title is just mind boggling. So I guess I am boggled with excitement!
I may bring a blow up trophy to hand to them at the end, should they win.

I'd love to see them too (only 2 hours away) but work schedule won't allow that to happen.

Wow, that is exciting! I don't think you can give them anything, though, even as a joke. The NCAA has no sense of humor.
Do you even have any Badger gear?
Next year you to make a trip out!

Yeah...I thought about the gift giving thing...maybe I'll just show them the trophy. I will have some badger gear. Decided it would be lame to show up without it so I bought some.

Anyone see Sheffield's tweet that he had to borrow a belt from UW compliance for yesterday's match?

Anyone see Sheffield's tweet that he had to borrow a belt from UW compliance for yesterday's match? Accidentally mooning the line judges? That would've been a yellow card.
