Is there any other freshman in the Big West playing as well as her? Ashley Murray is another possible candidate. She's good but she only plays front row I believe. I might be wrong though....

So many wrong in today's match. The announcers referring to Hawaii as Hawaii Rainbow Warriors. Then someone alerted them it's Rainbow Wahines but then came the mispronounciation. I think I heard them said Wa-heen a 100 times. Instead of saying Wa-hee-nay ROFL. Why are you so fixated on this issue...I think you mentioned this like 100 times in this thread... technically the school mascot is the Warriors so the commentators were correct in calling them the Rainbow Warriors.

Ashley Murray? I thought I heard that name from the broadcast tonight? from UCSB? MB from the Beach Oh shes a middle... I was looking at the Big West stats and Niki WIthers from Fullerton is 2nd in the conference in kills but she hits for a lower percentage than Greeley and she has a lot less digs which leads me to believe she doesn't play 6 rotations.....

who's who among the ucsb players graduating this year? some of their outside hitters can terminate even with a bad set. they hit hard. They lose one of their starting setters Santi, along with bench players/reserves Meddaugh (MB), Stevenson (DS/L), and Pehanick (OH). This team will be scary yet again next season.

Just looking at the stats great match tonight by Kalei Greeley! She has been a real consistent player for the Wahine this season as a freshman. Nikki Taylor also looks like she had a great match complimenting Greeley. Manu Olevao's inconsistencies continue on the outside. Did Ginger Long not make the trip? Because how come nobody else was given a shot at Olevao's position.
Looks like the Wahine block was also not effective tonight as the Wahine was held to only 7 blocks after having two huge blocking matches against the Beach and Northridge.
Hopefully the Wahine will have an easier time with Poly tomorrow.

UCSB should be better next season, also there is a possibility that there libero will return to outside hitter where she played last season and had a huge impact for UCSB.

I'm going to give the benfit of the doubt and say that Tai was still sick and not playing 100% because of it. I would rather not see Ginger Long come in at all. She had so many chances this year to prove herself and she has not produced. I would rather see Nikki Taylor move to Tai's spot and put Huff in Nikki Taylors spot. Do you think that would work?

One will never know if Huff would have produced more. My question now becomes, in recent articles, Shoji mentioned that Huff was moved to OPP due to the injuries of Taylor. Does that mean with the addition of Granato/Castello, and with all OH's returning next year, will Shoji keep Huff as an OPP or move her back to MB? I've not seen her play MB at all this year. 2015 OH's: Passi, Long, Olevau, Greeley, Taylor, Castello, Granato 2015 MB's: Magill, Mitchem, Maglio, and possibly Huff?

If Hawai'i keeps playing like this, they will be a one and done in the NCAA's. This team has given its fans little reason to believe they will do anything of significance in the tourney.
