Minnesota blocking has been cooking. Switching players out and around seems to have paid some dividends, at least for tonight. Players seem fresh and are making smart plays.

Purdue's best rip wins look like OSU 33, LSU 38, San Diego 43; Iowa State is rpi16. If the Big Ten gets another bid Gophers may be making their case.

I just don't understand Purdue's reluctance for the season now to run the middle. The outside hitting has struggled massively thus far and Drews on the right side can only do so much. Without the middle, the block is just waiting on the outsides and it shows.

Big win for the Gophers. I hope they and the Boilers both make the tournament (as long as it doesn't involve Purdue beating Wisconsin).

Young, yeah, but their lack of elite wins in the last 10 matches stuns me.
