I love 'em, but they don't deserve a bid.

How many sets have they lost this year when they have had late leads?
Too many.

It's to the point where the only time you see Minnesota win a set anymore is when the keep the other team in the teens. Any time a set is close late, it always ends up going to the other team. We need some clutch players for next year. Hopefully that is SSS and a big transfer.

19-14 and 24-21. You just can't keep doing that. And the fact they are STILL doing it is what is truly discouraging.

I think it's partially the responsibility of Hugh as a head coach to get his players to be disciplined enough to not cave under pressure late in games and instead step up to the plate and solve the problem themselves. Of course, your players have to have a "don't back down" mentality as well. Otherwise it doesn't matter.

This is on Wilhite's shoulders. That's not totally fair, but they need another point scorer other than Santana. She isn't playing the back row and she isn't playing left. She has to produce at opposite. Or Nora does. Wilhite needs to step up.

Saddest part about all of this is a 16 year streak is going to end. That's like 1/5 of a lifetime. That took time to build.
